Our class will soon be working in science on a building unit. We will be stretching our brains to come up with all kinds of interesting structures, bridges, and cool inventions. I would really appreciate it if you could save for us a few of these items, most of which would be headed for your recycling box or garbage can anyway. The more materials we have
on hand will certainly be a great benefit for the students. Here are some examples.
paper rolls and tubes
fabric samples
strawberry baskets
bamboo skewers
tin cans
pieces of 2”x4” no longer than 2’
wood doweling
plastic lids
spools
milk cartons
cereal boxes
clothes pins
tiny boxes
pieces of tile
shoe boxes
string/yarn/wool
styrofoam meat trays
